GE Corometrics 170 Fetal Monitor

The Corometrics® 170 Series represents GE Healthcare's latest generation of fetal monitors designed to meet prenatal monitoring needs for the physician's office. The monitor features large LED displays allowing easy, at-a-glance confirmation of fetal heart rate and uterine activity. The 170 Series offers 9-Crystal Pulsed Doppler Ultrasound technology providing a wide-beam profile for accurate fetal heart rate detection. The monitor includes standard Z-fold paper and optional interface with ProCare series patient monitor. The 170 Series is available in single or twin models.

• Dual, 9-crystal Nautilus™ watertight ultrasound transducer permits external monitoring of twins using technology that minimizes the need for repositioning.
• Independent volume controls facilitate easy transducer placement.
• Nautilus watertight toco transducer permits quick, external acquisition of uterine activity. Its flat-surface design means it won’t leave a mark on your patient.
• Heart rate offset mode helps make it easy to visually distinguish between the heart rates of twins by allowing you to offset the secondary FHR by +20BPM.
• Heartbeat coincidence recognition provides visual and audible indications when it detects synchronous fetal or maternal heart-rate signals, indicating that you may be monitoring a duplicate signal.
Remote event marker helps make it easy to annotate perceived Fetal Movements (FM) or other events on the strip chart.
• Easy-to-load Z-fold paper stacks itself neatly upon exiting the recorder, facilitating easy storage.
• Optional fetal movement detection algorithm automatically senses gross fetal movement and annotates its occurrence on the strip chart.
• Fetal heart rate alarm provides both audible and visual alerts if the heart rate is outside of the user-defined high/low range.
• Built-in dual digital interface seamlessly connects the monitor to a Clinical Information System as well as to selected external monitors – such as DINAMAP® non-invasive blood pressure monitors or maternal SpO2 and FSpO2 monitors.
• Telemetry interface enables ambulatory monitoring while continuing surveillance. Used with the Nautilus watertight ultrasound and toco transducers, monitoring can even continue      during hydrotherapy.
• Large, easy-to-read display clearly presents information on fetal heart rate and uterine activity
